Your local, social cycling club for all abilities

Originally formed in 2013 as a social cycling group under the banner of Bath Rugby Foundation Cycling Club, the emphasis on ‘social’ remains the same with infinitely better organisation. We are open for all abilities and currently have Olympic medallists at one extreme and holders of a 10m swimming badge at the other!

During the warmer months 40+ cyclists regularly gather and ride in groups of 6-10 depending on ability. So, if you want to ‘push’ yourself or, just take it easy along the country lanes and admire the scenery, we have a suitable group for you.

All rides have a ride leader (who has the route on their Garmin or equivalent) and tend to be in search of a decent coffee & bacon sandwich and at the end of each ride we often (always!) find ourselves having a celebratory drink in a local pub.

Routes, meeting places, start times and the all-important ‘coffee stops’ are published well in advance and members choose to participate in as many or few rides as they wish.

Each year a 3-4 day trip is organised with a social cycling theme - taking in the pleasant sites and hostelries of the UK.

Finally, not forgetting ‘our roots’ we continue to support

The charitable arm of Bath Rugby, a wonderful local children’s charity.
